Pain is not always the first symptom. Nerves affected by spinal problems can produce numbness and tingling, also called pins and needles. These abnormal sensations travel down the legs into the feet, or down the arms into the hands and fingers.
There can be many reasons for this numbness / tingling, including disc herniations, pressure on the nerves of the spine, migraines, postural problems, nerve irritation and many others.
Our treatments are designed to reduce spinal problems that can sometimes cause numbness or tingling.
Note: Many types of numbness are not due to spinal problems in which case the patient will be referred to their GP.
